Sometimes you just need an update! A refresh. And that’s what we did with Daniel MK Cohen’s website. Daniel is an actor, comedian, voice over artist and an Elf! No seriously! Check it out. I’m sure you’ve seen him.
I designed Daniels “Before” website many years ago. Although design can become outdated, I don’t think this was the case here… yet. But Daniel was ready for a refresh, something to show more of his lighthearted, funny, easy going personality. He specifically wanted something that looked drawn that complimented the silly Photoshopped movie posters he had. So I got to work. I drew different characters that he had played and stood them in a line waiting to get movie tickets to see these featured movies.
This project was a ton of fun and Daniel is always one of my favorites to work with. I really love the way it turned out.
Here is the before. Which you can also read about here: http://146.66.65.212/~kathyosb/kathyosborne.com/daneil-mk-cohen-voiceover-artist/
And here is what the top of the home page looks like. You can see Daniel’s website here.
One of my favorite parts of designing this site was creating the titles for each page. here are a few of those:
And keeping with the glasses theme from the original design, I created this favicon/icon/profile illustration to use:
Here is the entire shot of the website:
